Movistar's low-cost operator
After its establishment in the United Kingdom and Germany, O2 arrived in Spain in 2018. All thanks to Movistar, which has made this MVNO its low-cost brand.
This MVNO is characterized by its wide range of unified services, cell phone plans, and bundled packages. As a subsidiary of Movistar, o2 uses the Movistar network for its broadband service, which guarantees its customers a high-speed Internet connection. There are o2 fiber plans of 600 Mb and 300 Mb.
In terms of coverage, o2's 4G reaches almost all urban centers in the country. The operator uses 2G and 3G to guarantee its service in rural areas.
o2 does not directly offer the television service but does offer its customers the option of adding Movistar+Lite to their contract. This additional service allows you to watch TV on two devices simultaneously.
Like Movistar, this MVNO has its own app. It is called Mi o2. Customers can use this app to contact the operator and manage all aspects associated with their contract.
