Jetnet's Speed Test

Although some people believe that the Internet connection speed is constant, this is not the case. During the day, it may suffer small fluctuations depending on the number of computers and users connected, the network limitations, the purchased plan, etc. This can cause that at certain times some pages take longer to load, that the audio of a videoconference has some delay, or that, for example, a movie stops while we are watching it online. By running a speed test, we will know immediately if these malfunctions occur as a result of changes in our connection conditions or if, on the contrary, the problem lies in the malfunctioning of the web to which we are connecting.

How do I run the Jetnet speed test?

If you want to check how fast your internet speed is, you can run the Jetnet speed test here. It will also help you check if you are getting the internet speed you are paying for.

How do I interpret the Jetnet speed test results?

Running this test is very simple. It is recommended to run the test with the computer connected to the router via an Ethernet cable. Avoid running it through your home Wi-Fi, as interferences, channel saturation, etc. may cause the results to differ from the real ones.

How fast is Jetnet fiber-optic Internet?

Once the speed test is complete, the meter will inform you of your upload and download speed. This information refers to the amount of data your connection is able to send and receive per second. The higher the values of these measurements, the better the speed of your connection. The Jetnet speed test will also show you the connection latency (ping) or, in other words, the time it takes for your computer to send or receive data packets. In this case, unlike before, the higher the results, the worse the connection, something that can translate into slower loading of websites, a longer loading time when trying to connect, for example, to game servers, or desynchronization in audio or video when we are in a videoconference.
